Foci LLP. (“Foci” or "we" or "us" or "our" or other similar pronouns) considers the private nature of your personal information very seriously. Foci Privacy Policy describes how we treat the information we collect when you visit and use Foci website and the services offered by Foci (the Site, Mobile Apps, and services referred to as the "Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy to learn more about the ways in which Foci uses and protects your personal information. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you choose to not agree with any of these terms, you may not use the Service.

Foci will gather some generic information. We receive and store any information you enter on our Services or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your name, email address, Twitter and/or Facebook usernames, location and browser information. We automatically receive your location when you use the Service.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, though you may not be able to take advantage of many Service features.

When you use the Services, Foci automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser or mobile platform, including your location, IP address, browser type, operating information, mobile carrier, device and application IDs, cookie information, and the page you requested. We treat this data as non-Personal Information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law.

Once you install Foci Mobile App, you may be providing us with additional information, such as contacts and camera-photos on your device.

The Service needs to know your location. Whenever you open and use/interact with our apps on your mobile device or go to one of our Sites, we use the location information from your mobile device or browser to pin the Services experience to your current location. We can show you a list of nearby locations, friends and tips. This information is NOT shared with others.

The Service uses your mobile device’s ‘background Location’ to provide the Services, including to send you notifications of tips/friends/interesting things etc. near you. If you have ‘background location’ turned on, the Foci Mobile App will tell us about your device’s location even if you are not directly interacting with the application.

Your real-time location can be shared on the Foci Mobile App if you consent to share it. If you write a tip, like or otherwise interact with a place, users may infer that you have been to that location. Some content, like tips, are time stamped and other users could use that information to infer when you were at a place even though tips can be posted when you aren’t at the place you are leaving a tip about.

Your Foci account Personal Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately, and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

If you choose to share your User ID and password or your personal information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with your account and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf such as if someone used your User and ID password to forward libelous material through the Service. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

When you visit the Site, we may deliver one or more "cookies" to your computer hard drive through your Web browser. A cookie is a small file containing a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser contributes to the website each time the visitor returns.

By continuing to use our Services through your computer or mobile device, you agree to use our cookies, pixels and location storage in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Foci’s Cookie Policy.

Any use of cookies by us will be solely for the purposes of improving the quality of access to the Site by storing user preferences, and tracking user trends, such as how people use the Site, and their Site access preferences. Cookies tell us how and when pages in our Site are visited and the amount of visitors. We use cookies to allow you to enter your login information less frequently. To the extent Foci uses cookies, such cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your username or e-mail address is.

You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Site and you may be required to enter your password once again or login information more frequently. Foci visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Site.

We recommend that you get the cookies activated, however, because deleting cookies may decrease the functionality of Foci. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.
